RIP Daniel

Yes, Daniel my friend, rest in peace. Daniel the laptop is gone. He has been refusing power (there was a good joke about food and power in French but it is impossible to translate, what a pity) for several days, his tiny LEDs are now switched off for ever. Bye bye Daniel.

Let’s pay an homage to his thinness (2,7 kg), his sense of humour (being a PC named Daniel and keeping calm, wahouuuu), his dedication (keeping that bit of life just the time I find a job, that is grand). I loved Daniel, but now it is over, he is gone.

That is a bit why that blog is not that alive lately. But I got my first pay slip and will be able to replace Daniel very soon. I’ll also have to find a convenient name to this new computer. Fun is not over yet pals.

What about Daniel ?

So many people asked me about Daniel’s health, I have to tell you what it’s up to. My little digital pet is fine. That is it often works.

Although, since it has get its new power supply, it learnt to turn it from 19 to 16 volts, just by thinking about it. The pros: it means Daniel is becoming a somebody, as it can use its mind. The cons: its works not really well when it lacks volts. Good news is my husband owns nice tools to fix computers.

Then Daniel decided to become electricity proof. My husband and I searched for a long time why this bloody power supply was out once more. But it turned out that Daniel was just on ass strike.

I hope Daniel will be a nicer boy tomorrow.

Challenge number 2 = failed

I didn’t do it, sorry for my millions of fans, starving from news about my wonderful life. But good news: at least I got the stuff to feed my Daniel. Problem is that, sometimes, it plays me the black screen scene “bang I’m dead”. But it mainly works. Can you believe how no interesting my life may be?
